Ali Abbas If you tilt the game cartridge while it's playing you can crash the game, sometimes it completely bugs out... I guess I didn't explain it too well...
@ItsmeAz10 жыл бұрын
Ali Abbas Haha, I know... which is probably why it didn't crash. I was too careful around my console, games seemed to crash at the worse times for me back in the day.

@andreww121210 жыл бұрын
Ya. This game revolutionized FPS. Really incredible. I'm glad Valve took some notes from Rareware's book.

Notes such as? (I'm still waiting for some examples...)
@overwatch76110 жыл бұрын
You don't need notes - particularly if you've played both. Many elements and gameplay ideas in GoldenEye were used in Half Life, which of course built on them. It is not rocket science.

Air time is precious. His show caters to a wide audience, many of whom would have been bored or angry if Jimmy spent 5 minutes playing some video game, even if it WAS Bond, the granddaddy of console shooters, and he was playing against the actual (don't argue with me here) James Bond. Extending this bit would have been too risky.

MrV902 How so? The Tonight Show is the most watched late night show and one of the most watched on tv. Plus ratings and viewership are some of the highest in 20 years with fallon. I would hardly call him half a star.

Shape Work Studios It's more a comment about how unfunny I find him. Of course something on one of the free channels will be among the most watched programs during a timeslot when more people are home. His writers seem to be doing a good job, but his execution of comedy is just so dreadfully bad that I find it hard to imagine why anyone would watch just because "it's Jimmy Fallon". Only reason I was here is because "it's Goldeneye" His Schwarzenegger skit was horrible, hit Dwayne Johnson was undercooked and his Brian Williams doesn't actually involve him in any way (ironic because those are the best bits). Morgan Freeman on helium made me chuckle, though. Opinions and rear-ends, noam sayin'?

What I wouldn't give to be 8 years old again. Especially 8 years old on one of my friends birthdays at the time. All of us would get together and play goldeneye, super smash brothers, and other multiplayer classics all night long. Of course we would get pizza and other snacks too. Growing up does indeed suck. When your a kid it's so easy to be pleased. Now a days I don't even know what fun is. It's like it disappeared at some point in my life. I can't really remember when but I think it was some time between 20 to 23 years old.

If a game is good play it all these idiots come out on video game stuff these days talking about graphics this graphics that but a good game is a good game no matter when or how realistic it looks. Most of these older games are super like Doom most games can't hold a candle to it at all these days.

Even tho I do like some of the games of today, some people are fed up of the constant broken games that are being released today and have moved back to the retro gaming scene but you are correct old games did it better as they only had 1 chance to get the game right before release rather than the 100's of times current developers get today.

It was definitely sad to see a company that was once on top of the world fall from grace and now be delegated to making shovelware Kinect games and have to outsource their own damn material to do anything good with their IPs... *sigh*

Yeah I hear ya, they're forever locked into making stupid kinect games. I still can't get over how bad Banjo Kazooi nuts & bolts was :( Retrostudios, to me, is the closet thing we will have to Rare. their work on DK matches Rare's games, and their Metorid prime stuff was amazing! But i'm sure you already knew that ;)

It isn't Microsoft's fault. Somehow according to the original founders everyone at rare (the people behind the great N64 games that is) wanted to leave/disband around 1999-2000 and most did, then Microsoft showed up and offered a bunch of money and a few of the original N64 Rare team such as the original founders stayed and took the offer. From then the original founders tried to hold on some years with inexperience members and according to them those years were horrible. mid 2000 The original founders left Rare and thus the Rare today isn't the same company as it was during the 80/90's. No one to blame I believe, but I haven't read the whole story.
@jeffh364910 жыл бұрын
Rare was screwed when key members left to create Free Radical, which was well before MS bought them. The buyout was just the nail in the coffin.
