I don’t know how you are doing all this: the thru hike alone is a challenge with the physical, mental and emotional demands . Add in the vlog- your filming and editing that started with bare bones sorta following along what’s expected has morphed into full on cinematography. Just wow! All I can say is maybe you’ve already found your purpose; hit your stride. It’s the journey and sharing it with us. Thank you!!!!!

His sense of composition, filmmaking beats, themes, etc. is really awesome. And I would say it was there at the start, but it has bloomed in so many ways as he travelled north. That growth makes the whole thing even more of a satisfying, sometimes spiritual, journey-there are quite a few levels here. This is also why KZbin was created.
