Every time I see this game I get a little upset because it looks shockingly good still. Yes graphics have improved but I feel like a lot modern animations aren’t as tasteful and good looking as these Even the tech rolls look so good and clean. Wake up animations in SFV looked insane and they still don’t look very good in 6. They had something special with these visuals

If you’ve never played a head to head cab and felt both cabs shake as someone in puts a chun or Ken super, idk if you’ve ever really played third strike
@ELNIPLO8 ай бұрын
Dude, that "meaty" in the corner was blocked by chun cos she did wake up block, your training dummy was only crouching, and thus did not get hit at all, full dodge. On the other hand the irl chun was holding down back.
@JiBbo8 ай бұрын
I think I see what you mean. So if she wakes up with neutral crouch, not down back block, she won't get hit by it?
@ELNIPLO8 ай бұрын
@@JiBbo correct, maybe test it later for confirmation
@Glarfugus8 ай бұрын
guard doesn't make a difference, the crouch transition frame happens on wakeup regardless. i looked into it after the stream and it doesn't even have to be on wakeup, weirdly enough -- walking into chun-li is sufficient. however, letting go of walk pushes remy back slightly causing it to whiff. naturally not ideal for a charge character, so hitting it meaty is preferable (and quite difficult, as the first hit of clhk has only 2 active frames)
@takeshii8 ай бұрын
Reminds me of some setups in sf4 where if you hold back or forward the jump in is unblockable but wake up neutral and the jump in wiffs.
