I swear with the Jamie level 2 sequence at around 13:55, you gain MORE drive when at drink level 4 than you used to before the patch? Did he really used to get a whole bar back from sweep last patch?

Jamie is so cool ignore the fact that drink 1 jamie is uber trash

The drink buff also kickstarts drive recovery, so you can get drive back after DRC sooner.

The SA2 giving just 1 bar is okay cause you're also getting the SA2 buff. At 4 drinks, all you get is the drive.

I think there might be something to be gained from drink restarting your drive meter's charge now after a drc

I was under the impression "air combo is no longer wonky" was the primary thing to fix. I can do combos more consistently on characters I haven't picked yet than Jamie's one stupid bnb juggle to drink.

I'd love them to give Jamie a drink feint, like some characters have projectile feints

For me, this buff is a statement. Drink lvls are not going to disappear. Also is a gateway for the future, they can test the waters and change numbers on his drive gauge recovery on drinking moves, even making his lvl 2 can activate an accelerate regeneration of drive gauge.( wishful thinking on the SA2 stuff)

Best part of this buff: I can finaly believe that jamie is drinking an herbal "energy" drink! Thanks Capcom 😂

the drive changes give jamie so much more character identity. this patch was super good, I can't remember the last time I was this happy about every part of a patch to a major fighting game.

I was hoping he’d get a bit more, but these are still welcomed changes. I like that they buffed a unique aspect of Jamie, and now he has even more interesting resource management. Could really impact his corner snowballing while giving enough meter to go for higher damage routes. He seems like he’s meant to live in the corner. Great video!
