What a beautiful new year’s gift. Thanks for sharing! Really don’t know about Hutzel though. There is no such place in Germany. EDIT: Hützel is a small village in the municipality of Bispingen in Lower Saxonia, about 60 km south of Hamburg. Hützel has a club called Welcome (closed in the 1990's and reopened 2014) that also hosts live concerts.

That location sounds about right, memory not up to much these days ! I do remember it being a very small club but a great enthusiastic audience.

Bon Lozaga on guitar, Hansford Rowe on bass and Pierre Moerlen on drums, that's 100% certain. Benoît Moerlen and/or Mireille Bauer on tune percussion, and François Causse on congas, tuned percussion and occasional drums if Pierre played tuned percussion too. Mireille left sometime in 1978 so she may or may not be on this. Benoît was in the band from 1977 to 1979 so he's definitely on this. François not sure, he was in this band early on, then wasn't but came back in 1979.

@@markwoll Holdsworth didn't play with them in 1978, but he is on the album they released in 1978, "Expresso II", which was recorded in the summer of 1977. Bon Lozaga toured with them in the early part of the year, then Ross Record replaced him in the second half. Then it was Lozaga again, with Holdsworth making a guest appearance on their February/March 1979 tour, though he didn't let that appear on the Live album. The version of "Three Blind Mice" recorded in London that year was only released as a reward to crowdfunders of the Gong Expresso album "Decadence" ex-members Hansford Rowe, François Causse and Benoît Moerlen made in 2018.
