Let's stop this isn't about not protecting black women this is about holding people accountable man or woman. Meg lied, her story is inconsistent and people are only protecting her because they either think she's their best friend in their head or they want to smash and it's pathetic

Bottom line is that she was shot and tory did it. Everything points towards that. She was dumb in not telling the police that at first, but she still deserves justice. Which she got. Black women who lie to the police to protect black men clearly need to stop because no one, not even the black community, will see them as victims or care.

Thank you. We are not all overwhelmed by emotions and past traumas that we cannot talk about individual scenarios logically. As a black woman this is embarrassing. Lying to authorities, the public, and in court makes it so much harder for us who don’t have a powerful wealthy management team behind us. This case is about two black celebrities. The black women that are dying at the hands of black men daily do not get the luxury of lying, changing their stories, and a media campaign to prosecute someone who they think did something to them. Black men are also prosecuted for crimes they didn’t commit every day. Black men need not be protected from false allegations and imprisonment. Especially when it seems he was protecting black women from eachother. Each case is different and we need to look at the facts of THIS case, and not conflate and project past traumas and situations from yet another case we have little to no facts about yet.

Believe it or not, it’s both. She is using Meg’s case to express how she personally feels about black men and the relationship between black men and black women as a community. Her personal feelings have to be attached otherwise she wouldn’t care at all. That’s why I don’t have these conversations with women in general anymore because you can’t argue against her personal feelings and experiences and even though this was supposed to be about Megan the Stallion case, it will turn in something personal for women like her because they lead with their emotions and she clearly feels some type of way about black men in general. It’s lose-lose situation for men. Either you take accountability for something that has nothing to do with you personally simply because you’re a black man or you look like the bad guy for disputing her personal feelings with logic.

Ive seen plenty examples of blackmen "protecting" black women and it usually ends with the black man in a bodybag, in prison, or with a destroyed career. If your minding your business that's one thing but if you insist on starting a situation that you need protection from that's another. That's where accountability conversation comes in. Yamaneika quick to speak on red pill, Samuelites but wont speak on the "city girl" mentalities that are just as if not more destructive in our community.

I remember an incident when I was younger where my dad protected a Black Woman (my aunt), from her abusive ex. We didn’t even know that he was abusive until that day. My dad was enraged when my aunt called him and told him what happened and when he went over to get my aunt, things got heated and my dad and the guy got into a bad fist fight. The cops were called but luckily my dad only spent a bit of time in a holding cell. My aunt then came back to live with us at my grandmother’s house for about 2 weeks. You can only imagine how disappointed the whole family was when my aunt went back to her abuser. My dad risked his freedom and life to protect my aunt only for her to go back to the man that was victimizing her. Needless to say that the abuse carried on and there was nothing my dad or anyone else could do and we all had to accept that she wasn’t going to leave him. The statement “Protect Black Women” is sketchy and that energy should be directed to the police more than anyone else because it’s their job to protect society. Above all we need to encourage Black Women to save themselves, if your partner is putting hands on you, then you need to love and respect yourself enough to leave. Asking an average man to risk his life and freedom by getting involved in something that has nothing to do with him is just not fair. If a man shot any woman in my family, I will call the cops to go take care of the situation and if the cops kill that man, then good riddance. I won’t be losing sleep over it.

Amen! He interrupted her. This usually doesn’t happen. I was actually shocked. It’s almost like someone whispered in Pierre’s ear and he just went off. Looks staged to me (on Pierre’s end) because he went left real fast. People will do anything for clicks and views.

I never thought I would say this but… I agree with Pierre We as Black women need to stop willingly sacrificing ourself for men who don’t care. It’s not about black men don’t care we are picking men who are DANGEROUS we have no reason to keep this more loyal or not loyal because WE KNOW WHY quit acting like this problems have just arised. We can go to “ another race” all we want to ! Well just do the same thing because we aren’t exempt from change! I love us I say this with love! This wave of men who don’t want to give credit is nothing new! Look at Ida b wells stories and how she felt ! It’s not about black men “hating” us we as a people don’t take our safety serious ! There are black men getting their asses WHOOPED by a black women but that doesn’t receive the same energy either. Tit for tit can go all day. Let’s make resolutions and get into therapy for the tools!💖
