A total phoney - I wouldn't trust anything she says! (That glazed over, fake grin she wears most of the time on screen is a big turn off...essential character for CS because the world is full of Bet Lynchs.)

I love Julie...Bet? To me they are the same person. However I didn't like the way she spoke about her husband, Scott. He seems like a really nice guy. I'd say she rules the roost. It's her way or the highway.

I'm American from Louisiana,USA.. I've loved watching Julie on CS....I do admire her...but I must say I thought she was nasty to her husband after he was so stunning about her..... Maybe nerves, bad girl persona ,.....don't know

I loved Julie Goodyear until she appeared on CBB she was nothing like her Coronation Street character Bet Lynch. Quite unpleasant I found her especially towards her husband. I don't know why but she reminds me of Savile when being interviewed. The way she draws the audience in with her "oh now listen to this..."

@@sarahmurphy8030 Theirs a video I watched a long time ago something like the real Julie Goodyear, and I remember Bill Tarmey saying she could be a right cow, when she was supposed to back in 2002 permanently she lasted two or free weeks but it was published and snuck out from the studio that she was being very demanding and reminding everyone that she was brought back to save coronation street. Mrs. I I'M, In in that short time there was complaints by other casts about her rudeness so she claimed exhausting schedule caused her to have panic attack and nervous exhaustion I do believe filming so many episodes back then from when she appeared seven years earlier was tough to get used to it think it was crap,

Bet was greatly overrated as a character. She was before my time but I love to watch the old episodes going right back and I just don’t get what the fuss is about. Julie comes across as trivial and silly. Pretty obvious she didn’t really want to talk about anything so why go on a show like that? Very harsh on the husband! Hope they have genuine happiness and fulfillment away from the spotlight.

I remember when i grew up in the 1980's watching Corrie as Bet being a great character. This was when she was the landlady of the Rovers and married to Alec Gilroy. However in real life she comes across as quite an unpleasent person and she is certainly a diva...a claim she always denies.
