I saw the Olympic Gold Medal performance on TV, when it was live. Watched it with my mum and I cried with joy and was so proud of them. I’m so pleased I was on this earth plane to watch that happen the same time they were here. I think Chris wanted a wife to be the same as Jayne but he never found the right person. To me that’s as clear as day 💚

The respect between them is paramount ... Chris was asked how he finds Jayne, and said ".... She is everything I would want her to be ...", to me it shows a mutual respect and love. They have done alot for skating and ice dancing in their artist impression... arn`t we lucky to have these "national treasures". I believe they should have had a peerage.

When I was a little girl my Dad bought me double bladed ice skates. They worked ok but I didn’t get on regular skates until a teen and I was slipping and sliding on my butt! I always wished I could skate better and glide on the ice. T & D are so talented! I loved watching them skate in Alaska. What a beautiful place.

I don't think ANYONE should ever be allowed to dance to Bolero at the Olympics. The song should be retired, like a baseball jersey or something. It has been 30 years and every time the Olympics roll around, they are all I can think of - how completely and totally special that performance was and how NOTHING will ever equal it.

The era they were brought up in had traditional values, discipline and coming from working class people, times were a struggle, but as CS said, it is the making of you and being independent. Chris too, is a gentleman.

I would say that after those years they know each other, it is like lifelong friendship. It's like you have a best friend your whole life from childhood, school. It is like a member of your family, they are like brother and sister. They love each other but it is not like relationship between woman and man with sex etc.

That is a very good dad!! I am similar to your parents age, and my dad use to get me up, stand me next to a coal fire to wash me, gave me breakfast and then he would go to work (my mum was ill). RIP, miss him very much. Your dad is lovely, gone through a great deal, and is a superb role model, not just in the sport, but a true man and human being. Cherish him.

I can understand Chris not wanting to ask his mother what had happened. I remember how it was to lose my parents. His mother left his life. His father stayed constant. There is no good reason to risk tarnishing the memories of his father. That and it would seems disloyal since his father can no longer speak in self defense.

We all know that they are meant to be together. ☹️ It's NEVER too late though! They both just need to stop fighting it and allow themselves to completely follow their Hearts for once and not their heads and give things a/another chance. ❤️🌹 For once in their lives, they need to put themselves and their wants first and not the other people in their lives or anything else. They deserve to be Happy together because it is clear to see the depth of their Love for one another. 😍😍 What they have is something that they'll never find with anyone else. Nobody can ever beat them.. least of all the unmemorable ones chosen to beat them in 1994... BUT I found they are not as charming as people. Chris can no longer pronounce the name of his home town and seems to think English people are uncouth and lacking intelligence; and Jayne comes across as a really nasty prima donna. I adored them until I met them.
