All humans aren't equal. To say so is just absurd. All humans should have equal rights and equal justice, but the inequality of humanity is a basic fact of life. Slavers, pedophiles, genocidal warlords, polygamist rapists and murdering torturers are not equal to a law abiding tradesman who builds infrastructure, volunteers in his community and raises a healthy, happy, productive family. That's just on the moral spectrum, the physical and mental differences between the varieties of individual humans is extraordinarily vast as well. Some people are scum, while others are saints. Most are a combination, but those ratios vary widely in different cultures. Violence, misogyny, tribal nepotism and graft are actual cultural values in large swaths of human civilizations. Those cultures are not as good as those who discourage those things.

The problem with taking Piers Morgan seriously is that on this issue itself he dilly dallies and engages in the patronising 'both sides' rhetoric to ensure he gives the impression of neutrality. For example, here he says that with the genocidal statements from the Israeli leaders, there's a 'fear', it'll lead to the depopulation of Gaza but that's a terrible description in which he gives the false impression that those statements didn't already translate to violence to annihilate Palestinians from the IDF. On top of that, the people killed by starvation, disease and lack of medical treatment is a deliberate choice on Israel's part. Piers Morgan brushes this reality under the carpet to give the false perception that it's just a fear in the minds of Palestinians and not something that's actively been done to them for more than 9 months in the short term and for decades in its larger context. This is because Piers Morgan views this conflict from the lens of a white European man who like many white Europeans, have always chosen to believe Israelis even while they're committing crimes against humanity in broad daylight than their victims only by virtue of the privilege of looking like and identifying with the Israeli population. He doesn't deserve credit for securing his audience on both sides while mostly condescendingly lecturing and doubting the victimhood of Palestinians and falsely equating it with the massive privileges of their colonisers.

It's a rare situation where he has played devil's advocate so many times on this issue and been smacked down with facts and logic so many times that to deny the obvious would reveal a bias that cannot be come back from. The sort of reason why I know I'm on the right side of history. No matter how hard these maniacs have tried, no matter how many times, it still never makes any sense in a "consistent principles" kind of way even to someone like Piers.

Don't get the hate for Triggernometry, they're a decent channel with reasonable takes. Also, the tiktok video used here is edited to only show Piers' talking; the guys were listening, that's all. I'm certain if someone posted a video of Kyle never talking whilst a guest talks, it would look weird too.

As a Brit who probably sits centrally politically it is a difficult place to be sometimes. You don't have a default side to do the thinking for you. We have to try to arrive at our own conclusions about issues. We listen to both sides equally. Sometimes you make mistakes and most of the time your opinion evolves. Piers deserves some kudos for doing it in public.

The hosts of Triggernometry (they describe themselves as comedians but I’ve never seen any of their comedy acts) like to portray themselves as anti-establishment figures. Namely, they believe they are rebels standing up against the ‘left-wing’ establishment that rules society. The irony is that the bulk of their guests belong to the conservative establishment. The hosts, regardless of how they delude themselves, are mere courtiers to the powerful elites. Conservative historian David Starkey was one guest. He said how economic inequality was not a problem and the only people who think it is are elitist left-wing journalists. The hosts meekly nodded throughout.
