I met a guy from Sri Lanka, and he spoke about a god awful civil war that was going on there, I will share his story..... he was 12 in his house with mother and brother, neighbors came by in panic because people were coming to storm their village, they said they can only take two to hide, his mother chose his younger brother, so he climbed a tree, he watched as his mother and brother were found along with everyone he knew had tires put around them and were set on fire. He learned to meditate in the tree. Later on he got shrapnel in him from a bus that blew up, bombs were just going off I guess, but he made it to America. He said that's what MIA sang about a lot.... just so I wouldn't say she's ridiculous.
