Kind of screwed up her career today. Anyways she was making reference that she is in jail because she is just being her. A joke on her real life.

Anyone who saw Lohan in 'The Parent Trap' delivering a very impressive English accent at the age of 11 (I'm English and even adult American actresses couldn't do an English accent until Renee Zellweger a few years later) can't possibly deny the girl can act. She has talent. She's just under prepared here, which I suspect is probably her fault. She clearly didn't know her lines. Unprofessional, no question - but when she can be bothered Lindsay Lohan is a _very_ capable actress.

Anna Jolie Being good at accents doesn't necessarily mean somebody is a good actress, but it's generally a good signifcator. Meryl Streep is famously good at accents and is generally considered to be one of the best actresses in the world; if not the best. Being versatile with accents certainly shows that the actress concerned has put in the hours in terms of perfecting her craft and I always respect that. I would argue that Lohan gave an excellent performance in 'The Parent Trap' - the film I referenced - regardless of accent. In my opinion, she was a very, very good child actress. Well above average. I suspect she was worked to death as a youngster and rebelled later on; as child performers so often do. It hurt her reputation wise, which is a shame.
