If you listen to other high male voices (like the lead singer of air supply or even Mitch Grassi of Pentonix) they have much a stronger tone than Piet because they can actually use mixed head voice. In particular, listen to some Air Supply hits (the lead singer Russell Hitchcock has a vocal range video on youtube that will show you what i mean). I am most certainly not a vocal coach, I am here to appreciate pure awesomeness and vocal. Galo Dana The lows aren’t supported but they aren’t the most airy and he seems fairly comfortable singing them Regardless. They’re very audible and actually a lot of men (especially untrained men) struggle to support below a C3. A trained tenor is only expect to support an A2 at most, though most often the standard is B2. Shawn Mendes is an example of someone who doesn’t support his second octave notes yet he can still produce those notes very well.

@jorgia28896 жыл бұрын
I think he needs more power. His lower registers and higher registers are much better than his belted notes. It seems like he lacks different tones unlike Dimash - he has many different voices for the different registers he has. He'd be much better with some development of his belted notes but he's an incredible singer, I would he happy with myself if I could sing like that! His whistle notes seem strained, especially his D7. The C#6/C#7 isn't consistent, he couldn't hold the note and it didn't sound pleasant. I only know Dimash really, so I'll use him. Dimash used a D8 whistle for five seconds with vibrato and it was strong as far as whistles go. There weren't undertones of other octaves! (I'm just like... a fangirl for Dimash... so...)
@duckyu65735 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but that D8 whistle was strained with Head vibrato which is really dangerous. To be honest, the octave is safer than a really high whistle with Head Vibrato. I'm not against Dimash, but I'm just saying, the more power on a whistle, the more dangerous it gets.

His neck tenses in his head voice if you look at the first C6 note, which could lead to some vocal damage if he isn't careful. I hope he doesnt lose his voice. Edit: The reason why his neck was tense is because he was forcing a low whistle which is very dangerous if you aren't careful. I sing in head voice until F#6 which is very dangerous for some people because it is hard to support, but I can, so my whistle goes up to C7 because if I go higher, I am forcing it too much. (I did do a D7 in head voice before which was hard). Enough about me, I just hope he doesn't lose his voice.

this guy has nearly 4 octaves in chest/mixed voice. In the 5th octave he uses a heady mix but he still mixes, and up until d5 he has a pretty full voice. Nearly 4 octaves in mix (Eb2-That’s more than Mariah, Whitney, he rivals Aretha (she also had a chest/mixed range similar to his, E2-D6 I guess). His second octave was also pretty strong (more so than all women listed above). His control over his whistles incredible, going up until B7. He’s close to having 6 octaves, which is almost a world record. I don’t know how much he relies on autotune but he is incredible nonetheless. I also didn’t hear a hint of vocal breaks/distortion/streaming. Every note sounded connected and controlled. I don’t care if the larynx was high or not or subjective comments about his tone /support (made by people who are not even able to sing well), he can sing any current famous singer (besides Dimash) under the table. I have a feeling that the people bashing him in the comments are threatened by the fact that he is more talented than all their favs combined
