Hey Pieter I've just discovered your story a couple of weeks ago, very inspirational. This 2021 I'm going to start my indie maker journey. Greetings from Peru.

I'm a bit late, just saw it, one shot 💉. It's dope ! I'm 100% agree on everything. It never happened. But it has to be said. First, guys, 4h (almost) straight staying (almost) lucid, awesome, I don't know if I could do this. The fact that it goes both ways is really inspiring. Indie way vs streaming way += I already knew Pieter was a genius but @Roxkstar74, you rock man ! And I'm sure it's true, you really seem really nice 🙂. Pieter, I bought your book, I love the way you see things and sharing it does help so much. Thanks to both of you.

I FREAKING LOVE IT! Due to the work load I currently have I had to watch this in 2 sessions so it took me 2 days to finish it. Do you know what I feel like doing now? Watch it again! Everything was so smooth and it made me feel like I was there with you, just listening to your conversation. Damn! I have enjoyed this so much. Also it got me so motivated. I've been struggling with productivity during the last few months and found it impossible find an idea for a side project, I was just doing enough to get by. I recently started looking at Pieter again (same videos that made me quit my job and go full time freelancing 3 years ago) and once I was half through this video I got so hyped that I pulled the first idea it sounded good in my head and I've spent 12 hours straight working on an MVP. I am very keen to finish this up by the end of the month and maybe jump into the 12 startups in 12 months train. I cannot thank you enough, both of you. Usually I would have just over think any idea and find some reason not to build it...but not anymore. Not only I have spent a lot of time on this already, even if I hit some blockers, but I cannot wait to have this up and think what I will build next. I am so motivated to do things that I will tell the impostor syndrome to fuck off and even go apply for Pieter's position! :D Keep up the good work, you both are awesome!

@@RoxCodes Apple, Google and Spotify are probably the most popular now. I personally use Player FM because it's open source and you can add any podcast to it so it's not a walled garden. The easiest is to just post it as a MP3 file. Although it's very easy for anyone to just save the audio as MP3 right from KZbin. There are a bunch of sites that lets you do it if you search for "save from KZbin".

Good chat enjoyed it a lot. You probably won’t see this but what is your take on freelance consulting vs start ups? I’ve just graduated with a masters in CS (speciality in deep learning) and just beginning my nomad lifestyle with about £20k saved. The creativity and ownership of building start ups appeals to me but am tempted towards focusing on freelancing ML (perhaps NLP) for the first year or so to generate stable income initially before trying startups as I fear blowing all my savings and being forced into a job. What’s your take on this? Cheers
