Don't be afraid to make longer videos. It would've been nice to see more of the testing of the buzzer and really, you're not going for the short-attention-span audience with your content anyway! Keep up the great work!

You're kidding, right? How much more could you say about a stand alone piezo electric alarm? He was succinct but thorough which is nice.

Great teardown - I didn't know these buzzers had so much going on in them.

I love the touch with the picture showing where you probed.

Great videos. Being an analog VLSI engineer myself, I love looking at decapped chips and your identification of sub-sections. I'd like to request for a chip decap. The Sony CXA1019S series of single chip FM/AM demodulator/decoder. They were almost ubiquitous before digital decoders came along.

Hello, i disassembled today a DECT Cordless Telephone from NEC, and is has a realy specialized Chip (LMX4181) in it. Would be interesting if you could decap something like that.

Odd that the cob is in a separate board. Might as well package it in a normal dip package.

Hi what it is the name of this buzzer please

Can you build a small generator with that buzzer? I am thinking of some investment in this thing. Got some ideas including the small microprocessor.

I'm not sure to understand, what's the name of the component in the middle at 0:54? (I guess you say "auto-transformer", but I don't find any picture of this on google).

At 3:05 should it be 100V instead of 10V until the transistor is turned back on?
@electronupdate7 жыл бұрын
no. the voltage being supplied to the buzzer was about 10 volts and that's where the collector will stay until current flows again.

But the scope is at 100v per div and it's 1 div. up for ~ 0.75 millisecond

The scope and probe 1x/10x settings were out of sync.

Wow. 480 volts!!! The chip probably comes from *Mosdesign Semiconductor*
