Just an FYI: if your pumpkin isn't moldy, you'd be surprised to know that not only are pumpkins enjoyed by pigs, but many of the forest critters LOVE pumpkin and it's safe for them to eat! My carved pumpkin was looking sad, so I put it by the woods in my back yard and have pictures of a variety of squirrels, a bear, an opossum, and others, snacking away! So don't throw them away!

I had 2 pet pigs, one lived to 22 years old, the other 14. When she showed Carlton had planted his own garden, which they do, I thought, well... better fence him out of it or he'll destroy the garden at some point--- and lo and behold she did fence it.
