Cats definitely do come into our lives when we need them most. My late daughter knew I would be all alone when she passed in 2019 from cancer. And 10hrs after she passed a little kitten literally followed me into my home. She came out of no where. I believe she was a gift from my sweet daughter. I named her sammy an she never leaves my side.

have you seen the stories of the prisons that have cat care systems? i think they partner with local shelters for inmates to take care of some of their cats, and it's a great way to rehabilitate by teaching them empathy for other living things and how to care for vulnerable creatures. it's pretty cool!

@@nebullae Yes. There are several programs like that also with dogs. They seem to help a lot in teaching these prisoners to care about something beyond their own needs which is great. Some of the prisoners even got the chance to adopt them when they were released. It was very heart warming to watch that.

@@SailingHollyBlue Have Josh, Noah & Ronnie “taught” Smidge (I just love that name - perfect!) how to swim, enjoy paddle boarding, etc? They’re so perfect together and I wish that all fur babies could experience living in a true home where they are completely loved as part of the family and the family suits their personalities. There’s no escaping “Cat Distribution System 😇.” When we are chosen by a fur baby Kitty to be their parents, it’s a done deal. LOL I’m so enjoying watching your videos and learning about the many places you visit with the boys & fur babies. A couple of months ago, Hubs mentioned that he’d like for us to visit Thailand one day. I so enjoyed watching the video on your trip to Phuket, Thailand and the visit to the elephant sanctuary. Such beautiful and majestic animals. It’s so wonderfully amazing to see parents who are taking the time to teach their children to love, care for and support the rescue of animals. I have 4 cats and none like the water. I needed to trim Phoenix’s nails and I tend to do it in the sink bowl and she got me good with her nails. They act like they are being sent to their death but the sink bowl makes it easier.

Pretty sure you could get rid of the leash with this cat. My cat traveled with me for years. He had a certain rug that I would put in front of our motel room door. He had his freedom but always found the right door at bed time.❤
