I'm super happy to hear that your gonna start feeding the animals with containers. I'm not a farmer I don't know, but I always cringed when the food was put out on the ground and all of the animals just keep walking over it, or worse....and I will leave it at that. Good Job on moving to the containers.

I love, love, love seeing our sweet piggies getting a treat. And it's so sad 😞 that Tiny Timmy may be losing his hearing. When your were talking about that, it reminded ne of our sweet, beloved Petunia. For those new to the page/channel, she was both blind and deaf. And I love the new feeding system. Lastly, it is such a relief that all of the Wacky Little's ( including Annie and Indie) are healthy 😀 Take care and I'll catch you on the next video 😉!

I just watched a video from a licensed rescue and rehab farm in MO…they have a goat with Barber Pole Worms. The vet said it is prevalent in the area. They did a good explanation of why Barber Pole Worms are so dangerous. It made me think of all your babies.

In watching these videos with the pigs I think about their natural behavior. Like the other day when Wilber cut Jake. It is interesting that Pig Trudy is a wild species but really sweet. She is big enough to get whatever she wants. Even Timmy with tusks does not weaponize them but Wilber a pot belly pig does. Then there is where they choose to sleep, what they like to eat. This is as interesting as the differences between the mini horses; mini donkeys; goats; and cattle. Each part of the Marrow Region has diversity making it possible to give the animals their best lives. If one spot doesn't fit another one will.

Ringo so funny eating the honey bun he's enjoying it😊❤. So glad you have food bowls for the animals to feed from. The animals love you so much, even dinky daryl, Anne & Indy love the water spray Anne says no hands on me Daddy, No new baby cows yet. You do whatever you can to care for all the animals always😊❤. Lester, the pigs are 100% living their best lives! Not only does LHL’s terrain afford them the nutrients but it affords them the exercise they really do require to keep them healthy. It’s also that their mom and dad are with them everyday and they love you guys so much. Such good news that the babies are negative at LHL’s. I commented on Jami’s video today about articles I find and put the website names on Megan’s video yesterday on that darn Barber Pole worm. Jami probably read them already but just in case she didn’t they are very informative. I was happy to hear that it looks like horses, donkeys, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, geese and quail don’t get it. I couldn’t find anything specific about ducks or ostriches.Sheep, goats and alpaca do. Sheep being the biggest carrier. The one article was a study and it said that after the animals grazed they put chickens in that pasture and the chickens ate the eggs and worms and help control the parasites. I know your not a chicken fan nor am I. But maybe get some chicken over at LHL’s and let them into the pasture everyday after the animals have grazed, especially in the pasture closest to the house. Just buy all females to keep the noise level down. And of course ask the vets about it but it might be something to think about. If you see this comment please mention it to her. i dont care what anyone says, those are good. if i get to the gas station late and no fresh donut nuts i get those just as good. that with coffee, delicious i put extra cinnamon on the top. i can tell Trudy is hearing you and saying, daddy has something special just for me. all that mud on her snout, cant imagine that large piggy came from that little one you rescued long ago. what a wonderful area for all the babies to run around.

Oh I do love Trudy. Your pigs are living such a good life and I am so so so glad you have them at LHL. The affect of flooding at ISS puts an added layer of risk for animals and I am glad you have an option for your animals to be and JL or LHL. I still remember wondering why you were moving off the hill but thought you knew what was right and my oh my you were right and have been able to also be a blessing for others being able to offer sanctuary during flooding. I'm so heartbroken over Okie! Hindsight is 20/20 as they say.... All the pigs are thriving now at LHL. It's like night and day! All the goats NEED forage for their health Lester, so I think you have the right idea. Their mental health also thrives in the right conditions and this is a huge plus! The pasture appears amazing for the goats and piggies……Ringo and Trudy are so funny; there have been so many food interactions with those two; oatmeal, crackers honey buns❤. Absolutely these babies are so having a great time; a lot of pigs are fed just anything ( because they’ll apparently eat anything ). Oatmeal I don’t feel is a bad choice. Love is the best nutrition for any animal.❤
