Maru has been playing the same damn opening in TvT for a couple months, Clem was completely prepared for what he was going to do. This is a reminiscent of the IEM Final, Maru just get completely out-played.

Just means they're willing to invest moree in trying to take over the space right now - which is fair enough. KZbin streaming has some nice advantages over Twitch streaming right now, but the point stands that at the moment streaming businesses in general use an insane amount of data services and most of them aren't particularly profitable yet

This needs an R18+ warning at the start. Clem crushing Maru was fun to watch. Clem is way better in terms of skill, the only thing missing is experience, and game 2 is a huge proof of that. In a year Maru will not be able to even scratch him.

Somebody in Onsyde need to talk to Maru about his approach to TvT, it seems "broken" at this point because hes playing so greedy repeatedly, not even trying to scout after the initial Reapers. Somehow he still win 2 GSL with this is quite "magical" but it will catch him against those who know his style well, like Clem just did.

He's used to playing greedy because the old raven used to make you so safe against aggression. Now that its patched he needs to adjust a little. But to be fair, Maru would beat 98%of Terrans with his style still even Clem on a day where he plays his best

Maru has long been considered a Terran God but Olivera showed everyone that he could be vulnerable. He seems to be slipping ever since.

"Lower than expected"... Typical Maru fanboy talking like Maru only losses because he is not playing well. Clem just straight up destroyed him with massively superior skills while also outplaying him at every turn. Clem is way better in terms of skills, the only reason Maru was able to beat him in the past was the difference in experience, and this advantage is disappearing fast.

Second if u have any clue about sc2 you would see that in previews maru vs clem , Maru did everythin way better than clem cause of skill AND experience. Now the massively superior skills u see are probably a massive hole in your head but its fine.

@@nathanielsmith9400 the slippage happened before that, Byun beat Maru in Super Tournament last year, then we have HM beating Maru in IEM as well. What Clem doing here is very similar to what other Terrans have been doing against him, just dont let Maru get to his comfort point with 3-4 base and full macro build.

I feel like maru just has absolutely 0 concept on when he needs to just sit back, build a bunker to establish a good position or something and just play defense for a couple minutes. He goes for they most greedy shit like fast upgrades+tech in the last game and just dies because he moves out for what i think is no reason tbh. just feels pressured to go because hes maru so he goes. if that set of marines and 3 tanks were home when 2/2 kicked in and maybe 1-2 med evacs where at his base causing a distraction instead this looks completely different.

I am not trying to be a mind-reading Jedi shit or something, but I feel that Maru is trying to play more like Byun because they are really close and sharing strategy and such. All Maru needs to do in every TvT is setting up the defense early, get enough scouting and dont die to the all-in timing. Then he can just macro his way to a win because hes that good. Somehow he just want to attack these days, sending Medivac, Ravens, ect.. for the risky move aint it. It could be that hes bored of playing the same macro lategame TvT and want to look for more exciting play, but thats just not his strength in the matchup.

More like Maru is easy to beat if you realize he go early 3rd CC and double EBay every game. Just make a tons of Viking/Tanks and block his 3rd base.
