Nailbiting series between literally the two best players in the world right now. Amazing to watch. Also good to see someone who can finally give Serral a run for his money, otherwise Serral just smashes everybody and there's no real suspense or excitement to it. A handful of Corruptors really would've changed everything in that last game though, otherwise he just lets Clem completely own the air like he did with the Libs and Medivacs. Hope Serral figures out to add that in soon.

The point I was trying to make was that it´s not always as simple as "this player is the best", there's many factors one of them being seasonal play and peak performance. Clem disconnecting from the series for 5min was really inappropriate. It really ruins the flow of the series. And this is not his first time “mistaking” something. He went out for food when he was scheduled to play. Oops my bad, oops sorry is not good enough. Really poor behaviour and a slap on the wrist is not enough.

He disconnected, should be a forfeit. You can't just ragequit to throw off your opponent then get to effectively have a do-over now your opponent is disrupted.

Maybe I don't understand but seems to me a couple spores in the constantly dropped bases would be much cheaper than replacing 14 drones over and over. I know players at this level are good enough to defend, usually. But FFS 2 spores on each side would of completely ended the drops that ultimately won the game. Corruptors would also work, but they tend to get pulled out of position by someone like Clem. Also spores don't take up army supply... just sayin.

@@shaunkiyabu2707 i disagree with you man. Because first against Terran. Dude, almost always they use Medivacs! If you intercept a drop or 2, it is already worth it! Marines cannot have as @PiGCasts says a free get out of jail card. You can deal with Liberators, in case they do or Banshees. For Terran I think is necessary. And Protoss, is a way to say go to hell you Oracles, that roam around like kings, a good stasis can get your army killed! Also intercepting warp prism, can save you from drops, and to kill the stupid observers that perv as they want! I say a patrol of 4 corruptors will be ideal. Patrolling the sky, the “Corrpatrolers”. And if they become useless, then the control for the sky war is won!!!! You make your enemy to go ground. You can then pee on there buildings or even have the opp to make them in Brood Lords!

One of the most annoying things about watching pro play is their occasional stubborn insistence against simple plays to get value. A couple fliers to clean out drops, or Zergs getting burrow+claws to repair Roaches. Why wouldn't you pay 200/200 for every Roach to get its own Medivac? The thinking is probably that burrow Roach harass sucks, and yeah it does. But do observerlings, every Roach having its own Medivac, and possibly forcing useless missile turrets out of the enemy suck? Hardly. They pay themselves back essentially instantly. And if you repair Roaches instead of making new ones, you save larva. And who doesn't want more production cycles?

Third game: same problem för Zerg as always. Why not place down 4-5 spores and stop the dropships juggling once and for all? Same mistake every time. Stopping the Terran ability to fly back and forth is crucial.

massing spores does nothing. they just drop where the spores aren't. you can't build "4-5" spores and cover EVERYTHING. that isn't happening. you'll need "4-5" spores per BASE

Then he was still playing in some tournaments and we saw his performance decline. He was and i think still is like top 2-3 in the world. But he definitely lost some of his total domination. Hmm. I don't think so... even being in the Military and after finishing, Serral lost to only 2 players. He simply bested his own insane records yet again in 2024, when he had an over 96% win rate versus the top Koreans. This is incredibly impressive, as most players never go beyond 70%. Serral is the only player to ever go beyond 80% win rates and even reached over 85% in four out of seven years. But these records still are insane and we can't forget two things. First: Clem and Max still become better as players and it is perfectly fine to lose against them. And Second: Even having a win rate of 75% is something most players never even achieved, let alone after dominating the scene for 7 years.
