Join us decoying pigeons over winter oilseed rape with Sam Griffin from SG Shooting. In this Pigeon Shooting video we grind out a 50+ bag of woodpigeons on a winter day made difficult by a lack of wind. This typical winter day's Pigeon Shooting was the culmination of 2 days Pigeon Scouting and getting ourselves to where the pigeons wanted to be.

Yes, dreadful. Sam now runs a 3000 acre Pheasant Shoot over in Cumbria and you can't even get onto the grass with the quad.

Robert the ported extension on your auto who makes them what choke are they and are they any good for fibre cartridges I have the new Browning Maxus with internal chokes but after about 15 shots I found they start to come loose also what price are they please , love your video thank you.

I dunno if a Maxus is invector plus but I recommend a browning titanium choke great just a little more expensive than a normal choke I use it in my sx4 and it does the job well

@@luixzzzzthank you for your advice went to shooting show in Birmingham went to the Teague stand and brought a 5/8 external ported choke this is the one they recommended for crow shooting, would this be okay.

Keith Haynes Yh perfect teague chokes are great u should try gamebore clear pigeon 32 6 great shell for crows was it a good day at Birmingham I might go Sunday

@@luixzzzz lot of people there brought plenty and some good offers I normally use eley pigeon select 30 6 in fibre will let you know how I get on when these storms die out I,m itching to use my new ff6 flapper.

Where you at Shaun? Sam has the Holm Hill Shoot up at Dalston in North Cumbria. Awful lot of Pigeon at his spot but still all in the woods on the Beechmast. Lack of Oilseed Rape up there doesn't help.

How do you get on with sx4 semi auto mate ?

I like it a lot. I've had this one 3 years now and it has been hammered. Not cleaned it for months although I do normally strip it at the end of the wildfowling season so I'll do it next weekend. Handles everything fine right up to 3.5". Cycles very quickly and smoothly. Fast handling and pointable. Reliable. I'd buy another.
