Great playing and also great guitar tone with the band ! The new guitar + Klon pedal sound really good together. Sometimes bedroom tone and stage tone are different but you nailed it.

Tomo seems to play a fair bit just on the middle pickup, I cant think of many other players who do that often ? I’ve always lived on my neck pup when playing strats but have started using the mid more and it’s really grown on me.

Despite mostly being known for neck+middle, Mayer uses the middle position a little bit. The studio version of the intro to Dancing is done on the middle pickup (even though the tone of that song is now mostly associated with the live version which is on neck middle). Helpless is also on the middle pickup
