Pigma Micron, Pigma Graphic, and Pigma Brush

My pigma brush pens keep getting flared at the top after using them a few time. am i doing something wrong?

I've never heard of such a thing. The closet you would get to that is a Copic Sketch Marker. They have a brush end and a flat end, are refillable, and are the most amazing markers you'll ever buy. The only downside is they can be quite pricey.

These are all excellent pens for illustration work. I use micron and graphics for line art and koi brush pens for coloring. For my work, the koi brush pens are better because they have more colors and they're easier to build up for darker colors than the pigma line. No complaints about any of them, though.

I am looking into purchasing these for use in art journaling. Can they go over acrylic paint and watercolor or are they just made to go directly onto the paper itself?

Thank you for the response. I think they will still work well for drawing prior to applying paint. I have seen a lot of online reviews and even though they don't seem to work quite how I need them to, I still think they would be useful in my art supply collection.

Hey I have a question. Few days ago, I bought myself a set of microns so I can ink my drawings. The problem is that when I try to erase the pencil sketch, the ink fades. Is the problem with the eraser, the paper i use or the pens?

You need to erase in a small circular motion so your ink doesn't smear or fade.

You need to let it dry a bit, they're good pens I do the same while Inking as well

i would consider to but 2 of each pern, and chose one for practice and the other for real work :) their is no tips its just practcie! :D dont worry about these pens ink running out they last a really long!

You could use copics, but very expensive. I totally recommend them if you’re willing to pay the money! I personally like the ciaos, but anything works. They are meant for coloring, not really line art and other things.

Hi Sakura! I started trying one of the Microns (08) and I LOVE it!! One question though - do they leak sometimes? I worry about that when I use the normal dye pens, and I wonder if Microns erased that possibility. I'll get more of your pens, promise!

I've been using Sakura Pigma Micron pens for many years and have Never had any difficulty with them leaking, Ever. These are the very best pens I have found for my drawing and I would be lost without their consistent reliability!!

Why is this video blurry? Couldn’t see the .005 on the pen and the tip of the pen is completely blurry and everything demonstrated is blurry. I didn’t watch the whole video so maybe it cleared up further on. Too blurry to bother watching. Anyone else find this?
