Going back a number of years Trawasfyndd held the UK record for the biggest pike caught in the UK long before it had anything to do with nuclear power. It is a remote spot & figures in ancient Welsh mythology..ref Taliesin.

@@SnaggedBro Great videos guys, really well done! Love the filming, and those urban canals so cool Pronunciation is pretty good, but not spot on, Traws vun ith would be closer, a single f is always a v sound, and double d is more like th (but not exactly) the y has a few pronunciations the first one is a more like a uh... not sure if that makes sense? (left the midlands 20 years ago, so not a first language Welsh speaker) .Its only up the road from me, and I am thinking of going now...... only ever thought of it as a trout water, have you guys looked at Llyn Brenig? love piking there

its about £50 per boat mate. So half that for two of you. that includes both your fishing. then life jacket rental if you don't have your own which is £20 of which £15 you get back provided you haven't inflated it lol. hope this helps. tight lines

i would defo recommend having two of you on the boat! its hard work driving the boat around annnnd fishing all the time! also the boats dont come with anchors! so get one! you'll need one to stay in those bays without drifting everywhere! another good reason to have two of you lol! (there was one guy there fishing on his own, but he had electric motor with him to trawl and manage the drift etc #iwantone)

GREAT! Looking forward to it, if ya want any tips just ask!
@SnaggedBro6 жыл бұрын
We could sure do with a few tips mate!
@fis43576 жыл бұрын
@@SnaggedBro, well first you gotta make up ya mind on weather you're gonna twitch the dead bait or let it lie on the bed of the river. If you're gonna twitch the dead bait then I suggest using a double treble, wire trace (twitching is basically jigging!) and a smelt, sardine or sprat. You can pick these up at your local morrisons or tesco. Search up on yt how to hook these different baits, you've gotta get it right otherwise you'll be losing your bait every cast. Tie on your trace and pop on a ssg shot just underneath the trace swivel. And that's literally it. A very important tip is only use barb less hooks! It's a real pain when you gut hook em and all 6 hooks are barbed.

Nuke power plant a hahahaha funny nuke plants are fucking massive seller-field has 22 miles of security fenceing around it, all nuke power plants will be guarded weather there decommissioned or not it takes a 100 years to decommission a power plant,
