Simple clear advice as always. I was pleased (in a way) to see Ben drop the odd fish because I lose fish or miss runs from time to time, and I've always found it hard to believe anglers who claim they never lose fish or miss runs.

Great watch Ben , I certainly like the emphasis on the safety aspects on fishing a snaggy venue, all so important to preserve such a fantastic future for pike fishing. Keep up the good work.😃👌💥🎣🐊

Cheers Ben, Sam, I enjoyed that a great watch, some good info & a lovely looking venue. Only thing was the leader knot, couldn't quite see how it was done. But a great video 👍

Thanks for watching and for the feedback. We’ll make more instructional videos that show various rigs, knots, and making traces later this year ready for the coming season. In a nutshell, once you “blob” your fluro leader, you loop the braided mainline back on itself, wrap it around the leader 7 times then gently pull it tight so it sits neatly flush against the “blob”.

Always think Ben should get the coverage the likes of Mark Pitchers and Mozza etc do, not a dig against them but Pike fishing deserves its own high coverage and Ben is well up amongst the best. Always makes great videos

Good stuff Ben, love the fact that you emphasize pike welfare. I have two nets on the go every session which makes life a lot easier as a solo piker. Crackin twenty by the way, top angling. I have two nets on the go

Maybe a bit of a silly question but how long a leader would you recomend?

Hi just a quick question...when using a ledger stem how long should the trace be in your opinion please? .......Nice pike by the way Ben well done
@FoxRageTV Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching 🙂 A “regular” length trace works in most situations and many anglers use our ready made traces (50cm) with a ledger stem

Feels so weird when you always fish in venues that seems specialized in pikefishing. In Scandinavia we just have trout in our venues. In sweden it's big with c&r, but alot of people kill pikes. And Norway is a slaughter on all fish, put pike in particular. But with that said, your always welcome to sweden to fish for pike. Would be a lot of fun learning from you about deadbait @ruggedflies
