This is Pike's Portage.
From Charlton Bay, Great Slave Lake, Northwest Territories, a series of eight portages lead to Artillery Lake, in Thaidene Nëné National Park Reserve.
It is named for Warburton Mayer Pike.
The first leg of roughly five kilometers, or 3 miles, and including 600 feet of elevation gain is shown here, leading to Harry Lake.
This footage was donated by user Derek123, who walked it in 2017.
