Fun fact Acid Pikmin were actually planned as far back as "Pikmin 0: The Search for Fiddlebirt" on the Gameboy, but had to be cut due to hardware limitations.

Tbh pikmin 0 was really boring because of the 2D gameplay and just having one pikmin type. Hay pikmin did try to revive the idea of 2D pikmin by adding more pikmin types. It was a little better, but still boring.
