​@@JohnnyWonder12The key to getting anything done when blindfolded is to listen for Environmental cues! and (specifically If you're playing with joycons) FEEL and UNDERSTAND THE RUMBLE. Memorize frequent locations like The Onion and pellet poses. As well as listen for changes in the soundtrack as it oftentimes Indicates when you're near an enemy.

fun fact: every castaway in this game is in a set order, which is why you can never see who you're rescuing until you bring them back. you technically cheated when you obtained yonny, since if you rescued anyone else you could have gotten him back. i know this because i usually 100% the first area before anything else, and always get yonny before (or during i don't remember but i know i have him before serene shores) area 2, on top of it very obviously working that way if you do more than one playthrough.

you should do a challenge where you try to beat every boss in pikmin 4, however you cannot call or rescue pikmin that are in danger of perishing by the boss. This is a boss rush challenge with Survival Mode!!

I came up with a challenge of my own which I call the “Onion Only Challenge” The rules are simple: 1. You can only use a PIKMIN color if you have the color’s onion. (Excluding Green/Flashbang PIKMIN) 2. All items, Gears, and Oatchi is allowed and your goal is to see how far you can go through the game. 3. Caves are special, in which you are allowed to use the PIKMIN found but are not allowed to bring them to other caves or to the surface, kinda like as if you were to do the night modes but couldn’t use any Glowseeds. I’m gonna be trying to beat it myself sometime later, but it would be cool to see someone else attempt the challenge. Good luck to anybody daring to try it.

I think the playthrough had a glitch or 2 when oatchi just died or when the boss went out of bounds. I actually had a glitch happen to me when I did my “one pikmin color at a time challenge” (it’s kinda like nuzlocke and monochrome combined, once I switch from one color to another, I can’t use the previous color for the rest of the run.) turns out, it’s completely possible for pikmin 4! But anyway the glitch happened at the end because I also didn’t want to upgrade oatchi for the run. So I got all of oatchi’s abilities at the same time at the end of the game, but in doing so, it never gave me the option to unlock infinite rush. So that kinda sucked.
