But I do salute these musicians for properly studying Ketith Levene (RIP 11/11/22) and Jah Wobble and Martin Atkins. They've done their homework and copied the studio recordings for the METAL BOX PIL album very well.

Escribí “Death Disco” para ella. En aquella época tenía una melodía para una canción en la cabeza, así que la mezclé con “El lago de los cisnes”. Una despedida inmejorable para mi madre. Of cause his voice has changed as he'd be getting old now. Their are moments where I still enjoy his voice but overall I don't like it as much, I don't like that kinda guttural roar in his voice that he uses now. But its the best Pil line up since the original with Keith Levene & Jah Wobble & I enjoyed listening to the last couple of albums they released since reforming. best albums since the Flowers Of Romance. The first three albums will always be my favourite.

I was in the field listening to him that day - I grew up listening to PiL, so was well pleased that they played Glastonbury that year. Even back then a hundred or so metres away, it felt like he was giving it everything. I know this song was about the death of his mother, but this vid shows what Lydon’s performances are all about: it’s not just delivering a song, it’s putting your heart into it and bearing your soul. Most people can’t do that. They are too inhibited!
