Q; regards flattening the ball sinker-why you do that? whats wrong will rolling in surf? then why not use a bean or flat sinker? THANKYOU

Hey mate, yeah you certainly can use a flat/bean sinkers. I didn't have any in my tackle box and already had ball sinkers 👍 Generally you don't want it to roll in the surface as the waves and longshore drift will push your bait back to shore. Hope this makes sense. Thanks for watching 😊

Hey mate, I’m deciding on getting braid and I’m got 3 things stuck in my head fireline ultra 8 , Davies J braid x4 or x8 tell me which one is better, and power pro? I’m fishing in the flats with 6 or 8 pound braid for bream flathead and common species

I would not recommend J Braid x8 for land based fishing. It is a flat braid and will cause you lots of problems with wind knots haha. I've used J Braid x4 and rate it good as it is a round braid, but haven't used Power Pro. I have heard good reviews about it though. I would go 8 pound, that's what I'm using currently. Hope this helps :)

just saying if you want to get braid go on ebay and search kastking superpower braid it is cheap smooth and honestly great for the price considering you get 300m for $8dollars!!!!!!!

Hey mate, this is a stretch of surf beach between Bokarina and Kawana Waters. However, you will have success on any stretch of the Sunshine Coast surf beaches.
