I'm still confused for some of the writing. For example the P2 group, the pilecap length is simply s=(a x dia). The length will be from pile end to the other end. Arent you supposed to add with 300mm into the length formula? and how do you calculate the P5 pile to pile distance? sqrt all the data will yield smaller number .

Hi Muhammad. For P2 group it would have been: [ s=(ɑ+1)Øpile+300 ] for length of pile cap and [ ɑ x Øpile ] for pile to pile spacing. For the P5 group, the pile to pile spacing would have been [ s=√(2ɑ) x Øpile ]. Thanks for pointing out!

What about the single pile cap? What should be the consideration?

That is basically the same principle as a 2-pile pile cap considering the short direction geometric assumption.

for "diameter + 300" part, Are these units also in mm?
