I love my plant . I bought one last spring to put in a child's wagon I turned into a fairy garden and put it on my shady patio. I transplanted this fall in a plastic pot and put her under a grow light. I also water with rain water as much as I can. I'm going to try to propagate her next spring if all goes well this winter

Oh wow!!! I would love to see that and your progress. Is this an exclusively indoor fairy garden or is it outdoors?

Unfortunately my fairy garden was a summer project however I always try to over winter as many of the plants as I can. So far my variegated pilea is doing great. It was getting to big so I trimmed it up and propagated it in soil. I water it almost daily just enough to keep it moist under a grow light and the cuttings are doing well too.

I think these would make wonderful bonsai, due to the leaf size and tight growth. I got 6 in 2” pots last week, they’re doing well. I am extremely hesitant to mess with the roots I don’t see myself ever doing it.

I don't know...they're very sensitive and frail. You can lose leaves with a touch.

I wouldnt recommend this plant for the faint of heart. Lol she is pretty though. But extremely delicate.

@@NatashaHarper by the way I just bought this plant because I didn’t know what else to buy to make it 35$ for free shipping. I’ll see how it turn out this time after the first one die 3 months ago. This time I have grow light and humidifier now. Hope it makes the difference 😝
