I need Amanda in my life! Honestly since hearing this awful news I feel like I’m in morning. I can picture people all over the world chucking out their house plants in distress! At the beginning I watched Amanda a lot to learn about plant care. Then it got to the point where I new everything there is to know about looking after your house plants, thanks to Amanda. Then I used to watch her because of her, because of her personality and the way she simply was. I teach in a college and I often struggle with the way I come across to people. I feel that I’m not charismatic or likeable. So I used to watch Amanda and let her wonderful personality percolate into mine. I felt it helped me become more affable, honest and down to earth. To me and so many others across the globe Amanda was so so much bigger than just someone who gave tips on plant care. We miss you Amanda. I wish you well with everything. ❤

I feel like it must be a legal thing and maybe she is trying to legally separate from the “business partner” so that she can run things the way she wants and unfortunately these kind of things take time. I've never bought plants from planterina but I can say that Amanda's Channel was one of the first I followed as a new plant person. The vibe, enthusiasm and energy are what made me love it. And I did learn a lot. Hopefully she makes it back. I feel like your speculation is on the right track. If there is legal or business issues that could drive the shutting down of the business and trademark names.

My heart goes out to Amanda ❤ I had been with her since her early days and I remember somewhere in the middle I felt the pressure she was getting to sell Planterina plants through the channel and I could see her discomfort. It forced her channel from fun plant repots and propagations to only introducing plants from the shop. I have nothing bad to say about Lauren except she left me with an off feeling and I could sense she was the push behind all the change, her the being CEO it all makes more sense now.

So sad to see this! I started watching her content in 2020 and it helped me get through the pandemic. It also got me interested in trying out houseplants and actually able to keep them alive, to the point that I now have a small online plant shop. I hope Amanda is able to make a comeback on her own! She is a gem!

Amanda is my absolute favorite plant lady! I’ve learned so much from her and her voice and energy were just so soothing! I’ve been a customer of Planterina and always had a great experience. I hope she can separate from whatever is going on and be able to venture out on her own, so many people love and support her, i wish her the absolute best!

That was the best YT channel about plants that I have ever watched, I was really disappointed and shocked that it was deleted, it is really hard to find another so good one, probably not possible to find something a bit similiar.
