That was absolutely fascinating. Thank you, Kenneth. Most of us never get to see that. I don't know how the hell you guys see my little drone when it's out.

My Mom’s cousin was a career man on the mighty Gott. Wonderful man & never once complained about his job. RIP Terry Moen from Bagley, Mn. Love You & see you some day ✨

Super video of the wheelhouse, something I've often wondered about. Thanks for sharing it! What's on the four stories beneath you? Crews quarters I would assume.

Thanks for the tour. Does the helmsman actually run the engine controls also or just carry out steering orders or steer a course.

pretty neat. so the ballast also acts to keep the ship stable? If so, how much water do you need to put/gallons/weight? Where does this ship go?

Why are some pilot houses in the front and others in the back? Thanks.
@stickman9203 жыл бұрын
Forward pilot house was on the earlier ships just the design back then. 60s or 70s they seemed to change to rear pilot house think it had alot to do with if there was a collision better chance in survival.

@@stickman920 Alot has to do with storage. House forward protects crew from the weather and debris. House aft mKes it easier to see the crew on deck.
