Hello! I recently build exactly that Slick 84 as an electric also using the GA6000.8 with 180kV. I am using 12s 5000 and a 23x10 prop. It already has crazy power, so you might be a little large with the 25x10. I would recommend 24x10 maximum. I am also curious to see your solution for the batteries. I cnc manufactured a large G10 plate that sits in front of the main wing tube as the batteries need to be exactly on front of that for good CG. So I made space in front of the wing tube, glued some support in there and mounted a large battery plate to be able to change CG in future.

Hi pascal.. thanks for your interest on my channel.. I have two props I can try 25x10 and also 25x9., yes I am having to move my batteries forward to get CG right.. I have a question for you pascal what flight time are you getting with 5000mah? Thank you pascal.

@@dannyporter888silverfox8 Hello Danny! I am no expert in aerobatics yet... I am pulling 110-120A max in flight with the GA6000.8 and a Falcon 23x10 prop resulting in 5:30 to 7 minutes of flight time landing at 3700 mAh out of 5000! The back of the battery needs to be around 8 cm in front of the main wing tube to get the CG right and you want to have some play to do future adjustments with lighter or heavier batteries! Give your prop combo a try, though I think a 25x9 prop will give you not enough airflow over your control surfaces. Having a smaller prop with more pitch is better for control authority. Most people seem to favor 24x10 in this particular plane size. I am happy with the 23x10 prop and the lower current I have because as said... I am no expert with it yet. My expertise is heli's. Subscribed by the way to see your progress! Honestly I need to do some modifications on my Slick 84 because no matter how I set my CG, I need quite a bit of up trim to get it fly straight and upside down, I do not need any down elevator - strange! My guess is that my wing geometry is not right and I need to offset the whole elevator by 0.5 to 1 degree.

Hi pascal.. I fly 3D so I need prop wash more then anything 25x9 or 25x10 falcon carbon is a good choice of prop for me. My CG is pretty much dialled in at one 180cm from leading edge as starting point!! 23x10 won’t give me enough prop wash for what I need pascal..👍

@@dannyporter888silverfox8 I am very curious of your reportings with the 25x9 prop. Can you explain what the difference is going to be? I have no idea. People in my club told me that more pitch is better for more airflow over the control surfaces while more diameter will give you generally more thrust and torque. (Of course pitch also results in thrust)

Hi pascal.. that all depending on what type of flying you are going to be doing! I fly mainly 3D so I mostly opp for a larger diameter Prop if you were to fly more F3a then you will most likely to 4 more pitch on the Prop that will give you more Travel in air speed more diameter will give you more Prop wash and torque for more pull.. is really trying to find the middle ground with it not to mention the more pitch will have higher amp drew too again is about finding that middle ground pascal.. it can get too technical however is best to keep it simple!!
