Pilot RC Slick build update 1

This is an update to the build out of this Slick from Pilot RC.
This is a long video, but I wanted to show some of the things I liked and some of the things I wanted to change about this build.

Hi there, the rudder ball just goes into a hole in bottom of rudder with CA glue...but the wire tiller arm I snapped off and ended up having to screw a long bolt into one of the grub screw holes and renew the ball link without the brass ball to accommodate the bolt and it's been great ever since.

Dude, the wing tube guide really?? You would have one hell of a time installing the wings if it wasnt in. I raised an eyebrow that you complained about this

So, not really a complaint. However, I have seen it done better. I do understand that there is a black theme going on and it looks nice. I myself {like most of us) install the wing tube in the first wing I am putting on and then put the wing in place. This makes installing the wings easier and guarantees the wing tube is in place. However, the real point is that I have seen guys pick up the wreckage and then realize that they forgot the wing tube.

@@ghostriderrc I've been doing a lot of flying with the Slick and I've actually moved my lipo right back against the wing tube and I've flown it with 660g 4000mah lipos and also 813g 5200 mAh with both hard up against the wing tube...I checked the 45° inverted flight line and it was Spot on neutral I did a rough field C of G check and it was about 2 in behind the recommended mark on the fuselage. So I think if you just try flying it with your lipo as far forward as you can I think you'll be absolutely fine. I'm finding it a really lovely plane to get to grips with I've posted some more videos if your interested.

you glued your tail rudder before you glue it imto the plane thats the wrong order i guess

Sorry for the confusion. I have not glued the rudder in place. I just wanted to show how things were lining up.
