Hi Capt. When can one start using ailerons?
@PILOTCLIMB Жыл бұрын
You can use Ailerons any time you need, to keep the control of the Aircraft. However, if you apply the correct amount of rudder you should not need Ailerons.

Why some people follow runway track and others follow runway heading??? Thanks

That's great question! It depends on the airport and ATC instruction

Nice video , when flying with one engine inoperative , can we apply maximum thrust to the engine when required power is more due to maximum payload ?
@Kommondan3 жыл бұрын
The Boeing Flight crew training manual states that you can apply maximum thrust when terrain contact is imminent, not sure about payload though
@PILOTCLIMB3 жыл бұрын
Hey, nice to see that you are sharing your knowledge between you guys!! Awesome!! You could apply if you (as a captain) think that is appropriate, terrain clearance for example. The Takeoff performance takes into account the one engine out scenario.

I have a question though Captain, in case of engine failure or Fire or any malfunction after takeoff, who announces the mayday, the PF or the PM?
@PILOTCLIMB3 жыл бұрын
The PM should do that..

In case of Engine failure after takeoff, should I limit the bank angle to 15 degrees at 400 feet till V2 + 15?
@PILOTCLIMB Жыл бұрын
Correct!! Nice to see you!

To reduce the workload on myself during an engine failure after takeoff, at 400ft or the minimum acceleration height, after engaging the roll mode and identifying the failure can’t I engage the A/P right away?
@PILOTCLIMB3 жыл бұрын
According to Boeing you could. This procedure can change depending on the operator.. I have always engaged the AP after that the flaps were retracted with no lights.
