I enjoy seeing and hearing everything throughout this video. I enjoy the walk around; the plane is amazing. I've been on the 737-900ER, and I enjoyed any flights on it. I enjoy watching these pilots as they go over everything. Awesome takeoff that sounds amazing by these great pilots. I love the different camera positions as well. The skies and landscape are beautiful in this video. Awesome video, I love it.

Those are the highest V-speeds I've ever seen on a 737

They used flaps 1. You can hear them say that in the before takeoff checklist. (additionally they might be heavy)

Lufthansa seems to be the only airline where pilot monitoring verbalizes a speed check before moving flaps.

Depends on the aircraft type and procedures. It is standard airbus procedure to say ”speed checked, flaps xx”.

Yep...the movie is older then the last SID changes over LKPR airport..

Nice to see a pilot hand flying the airplane beyond 500 AGL. The basic stick and rudder skills are being lost to over-automation of the flight deck and poor advanced maneuvering skills when faced with a situation where the airplane has departed normal flight and is doing something uncommanded by the pilots.

You usually select the lowest possible power rating required for a safe takeoff. So during a cool day on an airport close to the sea level, you can downrate the engines quite a bit and still get a good performance.

@@programagor yes, that’s assumed temperature or flex. But if he said the engines are 26k rated, that’s the max chiped rating. The A321neo is 32k, and it is its main competitor...
