Ive watched you fly probably 100s of times now but that was one of the squirreliest flights ive seen you have. Crazy crabbing with that wind. Looks like she definitely needs a gyro and a power upgrade. Thanks for sharing Ryan!

I should mention that I'm not the world's greatest RC pilot before I say anything else but you made an observation here that I can identify with. I bought this one back when it first came out. It was one of my shortest lived EDF models. I nosed it in after only about a month of flying it, not because of anything to do with how it handled but rather I simply lost orientation. "Heavy" is a good description though. I for one, always felt like I had to fight with it. I enjoy flying a number of the EDFs from the Freewing line, from the 64s up to the 90s ...but I never really made friends with this one, or the F-104 for that matter. It too had a similar feel to me but it landed more like the 90mm F-16. I just struggled with both the F-15 and F-104, ...but they were both simply awesome looking though, both on the ground and in flight. Thanks for sharing.

OH yeah! I understand completely ! My thoughts on it are.. 1: CG placement coupled with overall weight. I have found that adding "some" weight to the bird actually helps in ways where I have been able to dead stick in the approach.And made overall handling much more manageable as crazy as that sounds!!? Then All the while adjusting the CG to find the optimum point of happiness in the universe!! 2: POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO.. What battery to run according to what it can handle. Always go high end for power.on the 15. Now the 104 well its a 104= ROCKET. BUT same principal..

Hard to fly with a full sock, but you hit a smooth grounder over the 3rd basemens head for an easy single with bases loaded,,, great job P-Ryan 2, full sock zero 🤩BB

Good flying in very difficult conditions. People don't know how hard it is to land in super strong winds, unless they've tried. Flight #2 was WAY better.

What do you think of the plane overall Ryan? I've been umming and ahhing about one of these for ages. I mean, it's not like there's many options if you're into F15s. And who isnt into F15s right? They have an inrunner version now which presumably gives it a little more stick when you need it.

Why would u fly ? You have the skills but all it shows is how badly the plane handles the wind .Second landing was not good .Unless the purpose of the windy flights was to have a tutorial on flying in adverse conditions .Shame plane looked horrible .

Any plane would look bad in that stuff. Sometimes we have deadlines, as I said in the video I was making sure I was up for a maiden on the Mig 29. I’m sharing my experiences on this channel. It is what it is. I understand most folks don’t have to get videos out like I do
