While not first the Scottish did actually try to colonise America in an incredibly intelligent way . They tried to build a Canal , much like the Panama Canal with the thought that charging for entry as this would greatly reduce time and danger for shipping would make them incredibly wealthy , however it was a disaster for them due to disease etc , and put Scotland in huge debt , They were definitely too early to the party when trying this as technology wasn’t up to scratch. this is one of the main reasons Scotland joined the UK as this huge debt would be covered for them .

Medieval II was the first game i owned as a kid, and i put thousands of hours into it conquering the world. i've been chasing that feeling ever since. theres just something about this game that just hit all the good points that HOI4 or CK3 just cant
