Phenomenal job .... the fuse upgrades and how you cleaned up wires are definitely top notch upgrades ....

As a electrician when you said you "Upgraded the fuses" it triggered me 😱 i have seen a lot of stup*** sh** where people effectively removed the fuses, and protection. And then watching the video i realized that you actually installed weaker fuses to better protect the motherboard, motor, and battery from overcurrent situations (aka sh** gets shorted out and goes out in flames) Great work on moding the Sherman. Love the red powder coated elements.

Yeah, I'd much rather have a cut out and replace a fuse instead of the control board or the whole thing going up in lithium fueled radioactive meltdown. Just bein' safe!

Such a nice roads. No roads like these in RF

Sorry to hear that. Potholes make for a more dangerous ride.

Try using a screen protector/film to cover your pedal magnet on the side panels to prevent pedal damage to your side panels. Your mod looks phenomenal. I did the same scheme except Nintendo Grey panels, and a slime/lime green on my bars/fenders etc I wanted to add some purple to it to give it more of a buzz lightyear theme

Thanks, yeah I also like bold colors. Sure you can leave it all black, but why not throw in some splash.

@@ZenRyder I totally agree. Black is just so basic. Electric unicycles deserve a true pioneer for owners. Not just basic rule followers. U know us, the ones who live outside the box. Lol Hmu if u ever go to nor cal for some rides. Would love to ride witcha

@@LukeUtigard most people on an EUC are outside the box already , this reminds me only the body of believers can be judged lmao , to those With real miles it’s simple: performance>pretty

I am almost done with my Hero facelift. Got rid of most of the plastic and made a tube frame.

You need to lock your feet down with the Clark Pads. Why I bought the Clark pedals as well so I could still close my pedals. The Sherman is much more fun with your feet locked in. No worries about being bumped off the pedals. Much safer. But other than that I love the new look.
@ZenRyder3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I feel very locked in with the Clark Pads. It is a little tougher to ride seated with the foot positioning, but I've adapted. Thanks for the comment.

@@ZenRyder I didn't think the clark pedals worked with the Veteran, looks like on their site they are for the V11 only.

LOL! I just went on a ride with 6" deep slimy mud, but I didn't drop it. But we'll see how well it cleans up after that. 🤣🤣🤣

How do you like the shinko 244 tire compared to stock? I like high speed riding, don't like gyro effect. I also ride offroad as well.
@ZenRyder2 жыл бұрын
Way fewer wobbles because the tire is 4 times thicker than stock. Technically the gyro effect is the resistance to turning at high speeds and a heavier wheel will experience more of it. However, I find that once you get used to the wheel, your body adjusts to the differencea and you simply add more control input to accommodate those differences. Frankly, I don't even notice any gyro effect at all now. Shinko 244 > all other EUC wheels for street & dirt.

Very nice! I'm torn between trying to get my roll cage powered coated or plastic coated. My thought was that plastic coated could take more of a hit, but would look messy if it starts peeling because of a big shunt.
@ZenRyder3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. IMHO, plastic will peel worse than cheap paint. Let me know how it works for you.

Lol, those onewheels are struggling to catch up.
@ZenRyder3 жыл бұрын
OneWheels are fun and cool. But once you go EUC, it's hard to go back! It's next level and mind blowing. But there are many people who will never know the feeling.
@wheelman69643 жыл бұрын
Besides protecting the motherboard, if the new fuse is needed, wouldn't it also translate in an earlier cut-off?
@ZenRyder3 жыл бұрын
Yes, possibly. But would you rather have a cut off from the fuse blowing out. 5 minute change out and minimal cost. Or have your controller or battery fried. Controller cost is not cheap, but if your batteries catch fire, it's a total loss. Believe me, I don't want a cut out. But realistically, if the Amps go that high, somethings going to blow. For Veteran to recommend a 30A fuse, it must not normally go over that current. I think they simply went too high on their initial fuse sizing and found that they should have gone with a 30A to avoid frying everything.
