I think damp on Poliwag line is probably the most useless of the abilities as im not sure if many people are gonna go boom often. Swift swim is good for rain, water absorb is kinda good for immunity.

Always love to think about how to buff these abilities to be a bit more useful (but not like, super great or anything) Klutz: If you miss with a move you drop the item you're holding and hit the target with it. The type of damage is based on the item and the base power is equal to the base power of the move you missed with. You lose the item until after the battle. Tangled Feet: Hitting yourself in confusion deals no damage (your pokemon is used to it). If hit by an enemy while confused, your speed raises +1. Damp: As normal + Pokemon that come in contact with this Pokemon have their typing changed to Water. Harsh Sunlight (Sunny Day etc...) reverts the typing back to normal. or Damp: As Normal + Normal Type moves are considered Water type moves. Big Pecks: As Normal + Pecking Moves have a boost in Power (Peck, Pluck, Drill Peck, Beak Blast)

I don't think klutz is that bad, you can trick assault vest, toxic orbs or choice items; even have them and fling them. Underrated in my opinion. I feel the big pecks one is quite cool actually

@@MechaOracle Well I'm not saying it's good but it's not useless like the others. It gives you something to work with at least; I would rework other abilities that don't even have a real use. Not everything needs to be broken and this at least opens a new way to use items that wouldn't be possible otherwise.

If anything, I think Magma Armor is less used than Limber. For one, being immune to being frozen is a lot less useful to being immune to paralysis (I feel like paralysis is much more likely to occur). Additionally, very few Pokemon have access to the ability (Camerupt and the Slugma line), and both of those lines have much better abilities to utilize.

I remember the first time I played Diamond and Pearl. I caught a Shinx and was confused why it was doing so little damage to some Pokémon. It wasn't until an admittedly embarrassingly long time for me to finally read what Rivalry did. Needless to say, that was the first and last time I ever used that ability. 😅

I like klutz to use trick with assault vest and giving it to something like blissey or Ferrothorn; so they can't use status moves. It's very nice to shut down those pokemon even if it makes them even harder to kill lol

I feel like cloud nine never gets used but I really like the ability. I hate all of the copy/paste weather teams that exist and cloud nine lickitung with curse/rest/sleep talk/body press and eviolite really shuts them down. At least it did in gen 8 before electro shot
