Hello, I am a person who loves this music very much. I make a playlist of this song, listen to it in my sleep, draw pictures, and listen to it more than 80 times every day. It's already been five years since I came in with this song, but I'm finally leaving a comment. I live in South Korea and major in design. Through this song, I was able to be happy and gain strength every day. I write comments using a translator, so I would appreciate your understanding as the context may be strange.

@Supersonicat Just saw this a year late. These ARE all real players, 100%. However, this was recorded on a budget just to demo the song. So, for example, it's the same sax player on all sax parts. This means his phrasing across the section will be pretty identical to the other parts. And it was all recorded on one mic in a small space, not multiple mics in a live room. I've produced plenty of full big band sections in great studios, including Capitol, East/West and A&M, three great L.A. big band rooms. I definitely know the difference. However, as I said, this was done just to demo the song/arrangement on the cheap. Not for a big band album, etc. But - no samples used except the piano.

This is great! Very helpful to me for learning how to arrange for big band. I'm taking a class in it now, and it's hard to understand how the different sections sound and function together. The moving cursor, especially, assists in following the score efficiently. Thank you!!

A wonderful composition Tony, and very well arranged. I've been following Jim Martins Big Band / Small Band online series for many years, and last christmas I got your 'Winters Never Cold' and 'A Swingin' Christmas Time' to my big band for our annualy christmas consert. They are both excellent! Stay well through corona and best wishes from Norway.

Brilliant piece! But as mentioned before on the comments, being in concert pitch for the transposing instruments seems a bit challenging for many players..
