I've had a weighted hula hoop for about 12 years and use it from time to time with the same workout. Now I found you! This is by far the best hula hoop workout I've found yet! It's fun, moves along, is challenging and the music is peppy, too! It's going to help with my belly dancing that I'm going back to in 2 weeks after major foot surgery! At 68, I've still got the moves!

I just bought a hula hoop a couple weeks ago, and I love it. I'm 55 years old and it does wonders. When I was younger, they had the ball in it that makes noise, so while I was putting my hula hoop together, I put a marble in it. I laughed while I was hula hooping. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Been hula hooping for 5 years plus. It's a great workout and tons of fun. And immediate results. Try it with your choice of motivational music. For me, it's Latin.

I hola-hoop everyday 30 mins sometimes 45 mins then after one week my waist got smaller. From 27-25 😊

If you're still a beginner at hooping it is super motivational to take your before pics and measurements because even in a few weeks you may notice better skin and muscle tone. Hope you're still loving hooping and dancing happily with your hoop ♥️♥️♥️

Thank you for your video. Mình thay đổi 2 bài tập cardio sang tập lắc vòng như vid hôm 14/3/22 - 29/3/22 và công nhận rất có hiệu quả, mỡ bụng mình rất khó giảm luôn mà hnay cảm nhận k còn mỡ chơi đùa cùng mình như mọi khi :)))) người nhẹ hẳn ra. Mình tập 2 lần/ngày, có 2,3 hôm mình tập 3 lần, mỗi lần tập 15' như vid, rất vui, mặc dù nóng nóng+mồ hôi chảy quá trời, nhất là lưng. Chỗ mình mưa hôm 30/3-1/4 hơi lạnh nên mình đang tạm nghỉ tập :))

Hope you got your hoop and playing with it lots. What is a cool thing to do when you start hooping is to document your progress and take videos of your hooping every now and then. You will be so proud when you look back in a few weeks or months and see how far you've come ♥️ have lots of fun ♥️

I just purchased a weighted hula hoop but hadn’t found a video yet to work out until yours. I had just finished a jump rope workout and went right into yours. No wonder I was so thin when I was a kid hula hooping and jump roping is old school yet still fun!

I'm surprised this doesn't have more views! I'm getting back into hula hoop so I looked up beginner workouts and this one is *amazing* - I loved it! Thank you for sharing this. I will definitely be returning and I look forward to the day where this workout becomes easy and I need to find a new video. It was good to have something to work out to, my only criticism is the difference in volume between voice and music, because i didn't want the music very loud it made it hard to hear you. So i just had to watch and copy and i guess i might have missed any tips you may have given

How long am I supposed to use one for? I think I am using mine too much.. The past 5 days I have done 1 hour of hulahooping with a 2.2 kg. weighted hulahoopring.. I do it while watching Netflix :) But it seems like my stomach doesn't like it.. But ugh, hulahooping is the only way I want to exercise :(

How many minutes can it rotate at once! I can do it for 3-4 minutes, no more, as it is quite heavy. Several times a day for 3 minutes.

For variety you could always spin the hulahoop the other way. It will feel completely weird and make you burn triple the calories and a great giggle ♥️ have lots of fun ♥️♥️♥️

Oh i do love a good ad half way through a work out.... yeah i had 4 and the last was 20seconds before the end.... but other than that loved it and would do more or that again

Haha ads can be annoying but you can use them to grab a quick sip of water or just hulahoop like crazy for a more intense workout 💪 hope you're still on fire and loving your hoop ♥️♥️♥️

The 2 ads in the middle of the video are really annoying if they are that long.. 2nd one today had a period of 4:40min. It destroys the exercise.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I alternate day's to hula hoops for 1 hour while watching a travel documentary. Then I will add 15 abs exercises. Now that the gym & pools are re open, I will hula hoops once a week instead of 3 times a week

If you keep trying it will stay up. Sometimes all it takes is a bit of perseverance and then you will not ever drop it again. Hard to stay motivated if it keeps dropping but put your favourite tunes on and keep trying and have a giggle, you can absolutely do it ♥️♥️♥️

If you’re using a hula hoop with the bumps then that could be the reason for the bruises and the pain cause that’s what happened to me. I bought a hula hoop like the girl in the video and now I don’t get bruises

Bruises are a sign that your body for beaten up and the connective tissue and muscles have to firm up and get working so that they don't allow bruising in the future. It means you will be firm and lean with gorgeous skin tone and won't get bruised again just keep going ♥️

Thank u for sharing this video! I just got back doin this exercise. My first day today hahaha. I can't do hiking for long distance since I'm experiencing heaviness,numbness on my legs. I weigh 55 kls which far from my usual 45-48 kls. Let's see if I will loss weight after 1 week😁

I don't have a weighted one I bought 2 from the dollar store. And I use both of them it's a good workout with my wrist weights.

You can get a dollar store hoop and fill it up with sand or salt to make it heavier if you like. As long as you can keep the hoop up, you're fantastic, no need for heavy hoop. Got any hoop at all yet?

Hi I bought a 1kg weighted hoop with ridges . It hurts to use after a few minutes and my sides are tender. Is this normal and will it get better?

yeah same i got one 1.5kg and it hurts so bad like it keeps hitting my hips and belli ... but i think u need to get used to it

Hi Rachael! Ouch, that doesn't sound very comfortable. The ridges on the hoop make your sides hurt, so look for a hoop without them. We use a 2lbs hoop ( +/- 900 grams) with soft padding and experience no pain at all! You can find it on: www.amazon.com/dp/B06XPY1SZJ?ref=myi_title_dp Have fun hooping!

Yes that does go away with regular use, but when you first start you'll want to take a couple days in between work outs to recover.
