Pine and Plywood Scrap Bowl - Wood turning

I was having a New Year tidy up in my shed and found an old project that I had totally forgotten about! Probably from about 2 years ago!!!
To complete the project I picked up a small piece of scrap plywood at my local Rebuild Site, then glued everything together.
The end result is a very interesting 6 inch bowl.

Veneer has almost tripled in price over the last year, so I don't use it as much as I would like to.

What is sanding sealer?

Sanding sealer is a bit like a primer before painting, a wax finish is greatly improved if you use a sealer first. However you can’t use a sealer before an oil based finish. Hope that helps. 👍
