It's amazing how you manage to change the design of the trees! Thanks for sharing!

I used a wire hanger on my first tree. A juniper. That's my little son. Can't wait to get some real wire for my next trees. VivaBonsai. Tijuana Mex.

Nice chill video. Is that electrical tape on the rafia?

Great video and an amazing chance to see the tree developed within one session outside of a 5x timelapse. The only annoying thing was I've listened to hours upon hours of Bjorn talking, and the edit to make his voice deeper was quite distracting (Although I imagine it was an accident during the editing process).

@EiseiEn I just got a 2 needles pine from a local owner used as a xmas tree. It is pot bound 10 ft tall. Can I prune it this time of the year just to get that taper look on it's base? I am located in california

Great demonstration. But the music so distracting. I prefer the natural sound.

Oscar why did Bjorn use the rubber tape over the raffia, I thought he doesn't like it? steve.
@HansKaramottoBonsai5 жыл бұрын
Because that branch is so heavily bent there is a serious change of little cracks, even with wed Raffia around it! That's why the in water-soaked Raffia is sealed with electrical tape so that it will stay wed much longer preventing any damage to the branch! And as a bonus, it looks much better in the end result than that white Raffia! Cheers, Hans van Meer. KARAMOTTO BONSAI.

Why spaghetti the branch if you know it should be done another way? Isn’t the purpose of teaching to teach to do the right thing? No, there wasn’t time to graft, but just say that and move to the next branch. At least I would have appreciated that.

The video could have been longer showing the steps better so as to follow the Transformation better. Things seemed to suddenly happen without enough explanation. Also some audio explaining the tape over the raffia a d the double wires. All in all not a good teaching demo.

Agreed. I have been told NOT to learn from a certain person, and to watch "Bjorn". Well, I'm not learning anything from this video.
