You are hiking all the trails that I plan to hike soon I live in Jacksonville like you🙂 it looks like the first part of your hike was great, those people at the campsite were making a big deal out of nothing.

Ernest Rountree - I could be a smart butt. However, it will ruin my mood. I wont let anyone ruin my good mood. I can be a butt If I chose to. I actually checked in with Ranger Marty, he knew I spent the night at a different spot and he approved it. I forgot to mention that . Go hike! Its the best ever! I drive far just to see the mountains.
@@outdoorsywannabe1888 I'm ready when you are! I'm actually planning to go sometime next week if you want to join me🙂

@@vibelife5133 Linville Gorge is a nice hike. There are many trails there, some that are not marked. Watch some videos of Shug Emory. He and his friend hike there every year. There are trails on the ridges and down in the gorge (for those that have never been there), so you'll have lots to see.

Snooch tv -- It’s definitely worth it. I had a good time. Check the “ Dowdell knob” though whenever you go. Its the highest point. I took long on this one since I’m slow. However, this hike was about getting away for the weekend and not for marathon 😹 You’re welcome..

Great video. I hiked that trail back in June. It was hot then, I bet July was scorching. That is a beautiful trail, especially that first part with all the water. Nice job! Crow✌️

AS THE CROW FLIES HIKING - thanks. I wish the first part was not raining. I could have dipped in the water 🤣😂. It is a nice little thru hike trail. I appreciate that. I need to be a better vlogger like you❤️

I think you did an excellent job with your video. I like the way you had the double screen, seeing forward and you talking at the same time. You are doing an awesome job! I hope you will continue to make videos. ✌️

Did you have to arrange a shuttle and if so, how? I am doing the thru hike mid October.
@JonathansMommy12 жыл бұрын
Hello, I enjoy your videos. I am looking to do the PMT next month but am having trouble finding someone to shuttle me from the Country Kitchen to the TV tower. Do you know of anyone who can provide this service? Thanks!
@outdoorsywannabe18882 жыл бұрын
They typically do not shuttle. What happened to my trip was by accident. I dont know why I didnt even talk about it on my video. I told the ranger my reserved camp sites that I am out and back. When he showed me the map that they had it shows I’m going to thru hike it lol so the ranger took me to my starting point & told me to leave my car at the end point. It just happened that that ranger was nice to give me a ride. Maybe go on fb and become a member of Girls who hike GA, maybe someone is familiar or live in that area that can tell you if there’s an uber or shuttle. Sorry I’m not much help.
@outdoorsywannabe18882 жыл бұрын
Better yet, call the office ur self and ask about shuttle service. The phone # should be on the website.

Nice to see you back. I forgot you live in Jacksonville, that’s a bit of a drive. I used to live in st simons island so I remember that drive well. That’s unfortunate you had to deal with that obnoxious women. I don’t think I would have been as graceful as you were.
@outdoorsywannabe18884 жыл бұрын
brandon21g - Haha Yes! It is nice to be back on the trail. I am used to the drive really. By end of next year we are going to sell our house & move to NC. I cant wait for that to happen. I would love to visit St Simons one day and enjoy the beach. You know I had a huge smile ear to ear when I approached the camp site. I was so happy I found it. I wont let anyone ruin my mood. I could be an ass If I wanted to and made our night the worse camping night ever. But it is not worth it to me. I just continue being happy & enjoying my self the rest of the night. Bathing in the creek, cooking dinner while her miserable self watches me do my thing 🤣😂🤣. It was so satisfying to see her not having fun at all.

What do you carry for protection as a solo female. I really want to go on some hikes alone but its kinda scary lol.
@outdoorsywannabe18883 жыл бұрын
Hello. I carried a kimber 380 when thru hiked the Foothills Trail last year. I don’t like carrying. Its just added weight 😂. You can carry a pepper spray if you like. It’s always gonna be scary till you do it. There’s nothing to be afraid of.
