Sorry for not responding, but apparently I cannot reply using an ipad and that is about all I use these days. I can only respond on the computer, and I rarely log on. So....to quickly answer the questions below... Gabrielle, that "red thing" is a just a plastic drinking straw...cut into about a one inch length. Lisa, I will try to remember to include a fishnet stitch on one of my upcoming videos. Yes, I teach a few classes a year at the Cultural Arts Center in Glen Allen, VA. Loved this video. As usual your demonstrations and explanations are so clear. I notice you used bead in some places. they don't look like beads with large holes. what thread do you use to get through the holes?

+BeeJay , If the holes are not large enough for the needle to go thru, then I take the needle off, thread the bead and then re-thread the needle. It is very time consuming. I usually use waxed linen threads. I teach using sinew because it is less expensive than waxed linen.
