I am always surprised that most people will not eat leftovers. My husband and I have always use leftovers for lunch the next day or we will do a fridge clean out(which we call Must Go Day). It is sad to see the reports of food waste. Thank you for showing your viewers that your family also have the mindset of zero waste of food. It is definitely a money saver. I think some people have an irrational fear of food poisoning. I think it’s fine not to want to eat leftovers, but if so you have to make sure you don’t have any. My grocery store has open produce, so you can buy one carrot, etc. Personally my whole strategy is to have leftovers.

Andrea, what a delightful video! As a former public school teacher, I so understand the commitment involved with teaching. You remind me so much of my daughter-in-law, who has home-schooled her 3 children thus far. I taught Sunday School to elementary kiddos, loved it so much that after teaching for 2 weeks, I was smitten and went back to college and got my degree. After 6.5 years, I graduated…with 3 kiddos of my own. I taught science, for the most part to 6th graders, which was fairly easy to include my beliefs that God created the heavens and the earth…and that Jesus was a part of my life and classroom and that science cannot explain the “why” of everything. I only was questioned by my principal a few times…he knew where I stood! 😉. I LOVE your beautiful rug…glad you’re enjoying it! The soup and cocoa looked delicious! I love the rug Andrea! I just have to say how sweet your family is. When I look back when my kids were little, in the 90’s…I’m so happy and know I was so blessed to be able to be a stay at home Mom. I don’t think I remember people doing homeschooling back then, but it was probably happening. Haha! And now as a grandma, if I had the energy and patience to homeschool my granddaughter, I think I would! I think that the pattern on the rug grounds the space. I think from following you that the problem is the contrast between the pattern on the rug. You prefer calmness. The couch stands out more now with the new rug. The pattern on the rug is very nice.
