I also like to bake my cakes 25 degrees less than what the recipes call for because my oven gets hot so I add more tome to mine also I use the measuring cup method to even out the batter between pans

@@demijones7537 I had to recalibrate my oven because it was under heating. It was 30 degrees less than it should have been. My sister and I bought an oven thermometer, researched how to calibrate the oven on KZbin and saved $300 by not calling in a service. Now my cakes are great again and I plan to try this recipe very soon!

Good girl! I'm glad you showed you mixing the butter and sugar with your electric mixer. I do that by hand, but thanks for showing your mixing AND making this delicious looking cake from scratch!! You were taught well, 'cause I'll be 63 come January 1, 2020 and all young girls, my nieces especially, use box mixes, Lord forgive if a pan is not teflon - so you right on with me👍 This looks SO good and sounds even better! Cause it's not common. Today I picked up the pineapple and got some coconut milk and found BIRDS EYE brand has frozen coconut in the freezer section.
