You can also add instand pudding also instead of fresh pineapple use pineapple preserve in the middle but put it on cake first then the icing

I have relatives in Cape Brenton Nova Scotia. The family still lives in the house my great great grandmother was born in. She also died in the same room she was born in on her 100th birthday. Peggy's Cove is a beautiful Oceanside place. Great place to get in touch with nature with the Atlantic crashing against the rocks. Back to the Pina Colada 🍍🥥. Yes, you can make the syrup non-alcoholic. I have more details up on my website. The began cream cheese should work for the frosting, but I haven't tried using coconut cream for it. I'm not sure if the texture would be the same.

There's a Cuban Bakery near me, and they do their piña colada cake similar to your recipe, but they add a layer of Mille-feuille along with dulce de leche. So good! 🤤

No, I just used the pineapple in its juices. I personally don't like my cakes too sweet! If you wanted to, you could add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar. Enjoy!
